Welcome to How To Be a Games User Researcher.

I am an experienced games user researcher, having previously led research studies for many of PlayStation’s top European games, and I continue to work with games studios to help make games better.

For the last five years, I have been running a mentoring programme, which has partnered over one hundred students with more than fifty industry professionals from top companies such as Sony, EA, Valve, Ubisoft and Microsoft, and helped many people get their first job in video games.

Early 2021 I am releasing a new book covering what I’ve learned, teaching you how to be a games user researcher, and giving away a whole bunch of free community resources for starting a new career in GUR.

Sign up now so you don’t miss the first issue.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
